Veracruz, Ver. Los más de 160 trabajadores que quedaron sin empleo luego del incendio de la empresa Internacional Paper protestaron ayer en las afueras de las instalaciones debido a que llegaron a recorrer la zona directivos de la Ciudad de México a Ixtaczoquitlán, en la región de Orizaba.
Los obreros estaban en la reja viendo como los oficinistas con cascos y chalecos de seguridad caminaban por los pasillos ignorando sus gritos para exigir su reinstalación o el regreso de sus plazas.
Hay que recordar que el pasado 26 de marzo de este 2024, International Paper Empaques Industriales de México Planta Ixtaczoquitlán, ardió debido a un incendio que terminó con todas sus instalaciones.
Desde entonces, los 160 empleados quedaron a la deriva y ni les pagan sus liquidaciones ni les regresan sus trabajos, por lo que ayer protestaron en el parque industrial al saber que llegaban los directivos.
El secretario general de Sindicato, Marcelo Martín Gaspar Cruz anunció que se realizará una demanda colectiva, dado a que se ha agotado la última instancia de conciliación.
La factoría encargada de la fabricación de cartón ha mostrado una rotunda negativa de liquidar a los trabajadores conforme al Contrato Colectivo de Trabajo (CCT), establecido en la Ley Federal.
"La última conciliación que se tuvo fue en la Ciudad de México en el centro Federal y por parte de la empresa, insisten en el afán de liquidar los conforme a la ley solamente cuando en realidad existe un contrato colectivo de trabajo, Y eso es lo que les estamos pidiendo que nos liquiden conforme al contrato y negociar más que nada”.
